All Paws is a small but increasingly busy business, that is expanding!
We are currently a team of 7 providing animal care services throughout Aylesford to Sevenoaks.
With a passion and love for animals, we have had the pleasure of sharing our lives with dogs of all sizes, from Rottweilers and Malinois to Jack Russels and Staffordshire Bull Terriers. As well a cats, kittens, small furries and exotic birds. With All Paws own ambassadors Jazz the Malinois.
Since the start of All Paws in 2017 we have had the opportunity to share our love of animals with our pet clients and owners throughout the Kent area.
Job description
As true animal lovers, we pride ourselves on the high standard and professional care and services that we offer, as a small business we like this to be a personal experience.
We are looking for a reliable dog walker and pet sitter to walk dogs according to times specified by dog owners. The dog walker’s responsibilities include safely transporting dogs to and from their homes, being a key holder for client houses, providing clean water and food as and when required, and undertaking any requests from the client/owner with the upmost professionalism and care.
We require someone who would be able to walk multiple dogs of various sizes and breeds. Ultimately, a top-performing dog walker will comply with clients' special requests, and ensure that all dogs are treated with love and care.
In addition to dog walking, the demand for over-night sitting in the clients home, feeding drop ins and care visits for cats and small pets is growing.
So the ideal person will also be an all round animal crazy person with experience of the above.
Responsibilities:
- Walking multiple dogs in various weather conditions.
- Regularly recording information specifying which dogs were walked/pets were seen, the duration of the walks/visits, and if there were any unusual or abnormal observations.
- Safely transporting dogs to and from their homes.
- Picking up and disposing of pet waste.
- Ensuring that all dogs/pets have fresh water and food as required.
- Scheduling suitable times to walk dogs/perform visits.
- Taking all necessary precautions to ensure that the dogs/pets and those around them are safe.
- Providing regular updates to clients, which includes texting on arrival and departure, sharing photos, videos, and updates.
- Notifying owners if pets become sick or injured before, during, or after walks/visits immediately as the issue arises.
Requirements:
- Over 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license. (this is a must due to the location of appointments)
- Clean driving record.
- We would need someone who lives in Borough Green/Wrotham/Ightham/West Malling/Aylesford or Sevenoaks area
- Proven experience working with dog and preferably other animals also (not just owning a pet).
- Working knowledge of positive reinforcement training, lead walking and off lead command.
- Sound understanding of dog behavior.
- Available to walk dogs during peak walking times (weekday lunch times and weekend availability is a must!)
- The ability to walk for long periods of time.
- Patient, punctual, and reliable.
- Trustworthy and responsible.
- Able to work under their own initiative and keep to pre-agreed appointment times.
-Free weekends and week days for regular weekly services.

This role is on a self employed basis working for All Paws, with some walks and appointments already pre-booked.
We are ideally looking for someone flexible to grow with us as the business does, potentially increasing these appointments to group walks over time.
As a self employed team member, you are responsible for your own tax arrangements and filing. Rates of pay are reflected from the service rates which we will discuss with you on application and clients will pay you directly, typically via bank transfer or cash, weekly or monthly as pre-agreed with you.
